Nanowrimo

I'm starting this journal as a lark-- just to look back on what may prove to be a most hectic month. November has never looked the same. NaNoWriMo, here I come! For those of you unaware, NaNoWriMo is National Novel Writing Month. And because Rebecca couldn't get over this.. Ever said to yourself, "One day, I'm going to write a novel". Announcing the end to the one-day novelist. We do it in a month. 50,000 words. Tres cool. Just got home from my first debate meet—it went rather well. I won both my rounds, and as luck would have it, in the finals I got paired with someone from my school. So they went by some system, and he won it. *sad* Oh well. I did kick ass today. Nanowrimo starts in . . . 24 days? About? Yeah. Trying still to recruit some students, but most aren’t up to it. I can’t blame them—Stuy is stuy, I suppose. Though we do have some solid people. They don’t seem to think it’s fun. Sheesh.
